We were at the Penang Botanic Gardens with my parents during the eight-day Penang Orchid Festival. The orchid show was somewhat small-scale to be called a festival (at least not what I had imagined). But it was still enjoyable to immerse ourselves with the splendor of these flowers.
At the dedicated event corner, there were displays of over 300 orchids of 35 species by orchid growers from all over Malaysia. There were sunset crimson, royal purple, sweet tangerine, bold mix of lime green and red, dressed with stylish dots and artistic lines - all stood out as rays of beauty parading around the tables. I was totally mesmerised. Here are some pictures for you to enjoy!
