A maternity hospital from 1915 - 1955, and home to various organisations over the past 50 years, the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital at 57 Macalister Road was recently restored to its original splendour, and opened this month as a new branch of the Penang state museum and art gallery.
The museum is currently hosting an exhibition on Sun Yat Sen and Soong Ching Ling, which runs until February 17, 2011. Opening hours are from 9am-5pm, Saturday-Thursday. Admission is free.
